Great
news! Someone wants to buy your house! Make sure closing is
smooth and trouble-free by being prepared. The most important
step in this process is supplying the closing agent with all
necessary documents to assemble the closing packets. The following
documents are typically included: "Purchase agreement and
any addenda" Termite inspection report (If the buyer is receiving
Federal Housing Administration financing to purchase the home,
you will need to immediately schedule a termite inspection
and send the report to the closing agent.) "Buyer's financial
information." Mortgage payoff information and any second
mortgages or other liens. A money-saving tip: If you use the
same title company at closing that you used when you bought
your home, you might be eligible for a discounted fee. Even
if you are using a different title company, you may still
receive a credit if you turn in your old policy.

Seasonal
Suggestion
Surprise
your loved one or family this Valentine’s Day
with a festive home and a delightful meal. This holiday
doesn’t have to break the budget to be fun and
romantic. Have a romantic meal by planning an indoor
picnic. Spread a comfortable blanket in front of the
fireplace, buy some wine, cheese and fruits and light
some candles and you have an easy, unique Valentine’s
dinner! You can involve everyone by inviting the whole
family to dine on the floor.
You can also decorate your home for
the occasion inexpensively by calling flower shops and
asking if they have boxes of scrap flower petals for
sale. You can often buy a box of rose petals for just
dollars a box! Spread the petals on your picnic blanket,
around the dining table, in a luxurious bath or on the
floor to create a beautiful entrance for your sweetheart!
